Data Science Summer School
From 2nd to 16th August 2018, the second Data Science Summer School will be held in Göttingen. The event organised by the Institute for Computer Sciences, GWDG, and SUB is aimed at Master’s students in the final phase of their studies as well as doctoral candidates in the initial phase of their doctorate. Main topic of the summer school is the question of how to deal with scientific data which is produced to an unprecedented extend due to technological chance. Aspects of both theory and practice will be considered in order to provide the participants with tools and working techniques to work with data they use in their research projects.
