WeWiMento – Wege in das Wissenschaftsmanagement

This year sees the start of a new round of the campus wide mentoring programme „WeWiMento – Wege in das Wissenschaftsmanagement,” which is directed at PhD students and postdocs of all fields who are interested in a professional orientation in the area of science management. The programme supports them during the qualification phase in making a well-informed career oriented decision. It especially addresses those who already have informed themselves with the occupational field of science management, but do not work in that field yet (or have done so for a short while only).
The program includes a one-to-one-mentoring with experienced colleagues in science management from various institutions of Göttingen Campus, as well as job shadowing in various facilities, which provides an insight into the variety of activities in the field. Moreover, workshops accompanying the program provide participants with the opportunity to further qualify and network inside the peer group.
