Wie(so) promovieren? Informational event for students

In this event, we will inform students on all issues concerning a doctorate at the Faculty of Philosophy and the Faculty of Theology. Topics range from the motivation for a doctorate, over formal requirements, financing options, course of PhD study to career perspectives after the promotion. Unfortunately, we cannot offer individual consulting for students prior to their PhD studies, which we are often asked for. Please make students aware of this event, which we offer once per semester.
This summer semester, we will, for the first time, offer an informational event in English. We also consult prospective PhD students from abroad who are unable to speak German directly before and after their arrival in Göttingen.
