GSGG Day
November 4, 2021, start: 4 p.m.
Meeting and event center Alte Mensa, Wilhelmsplatz 3
The GSGG Day will take place in presence on November 4th – under 3G conditions and without reception, but despite everything with great joy that we can meet in person once again. 3G also means that the capacity of the event rooms is reduced to 50% of normal operation, so that a maximum of 56 people can participate in the Insights into the Humanities in the afternoon and in the evening festive event. There were years in which we exceeded this number and years in which we didn’t reach this number of participants. This year we ask for your understanding in advance if we have to reject you due to lack of capacity. The “first come, first serve” principle applies to registration.
In the evening, the Christian-Gottlob-Heyne-Prize will be awarded to the art historian Dr. Julia Diekmann, who completed her PhD with the topic „Gestalten der Wahrheit – Carl Julius Mildes Porträtzeichnungen von Psychiatriepatienten“. An introduction to the award winner and the other nominees can be found here.
