Change of doctoral representatives and final programme
At the end of our “term of office”, we, Lina Hantel and Johanna Strunge, once again invite you to an informal exchange between doctoral students during a walk on Göttingen’s Wall. On a round around the Wall there will be the opportunity for collegial consultation, networking and exchange. The newly elected spokespersons, Rieke Dobslaw, Johanna Jürgens, Laura Kinzig and Katharina Paul, will also be there. So, the walk is also an opportunity to meet the new representatives of us doctoral researchers.
When: July 19, 2022, 2 PM, meeting point: Deutsches Theater.
We would also like to announce a final event that is currently being planned. Based on the question from your ranks “How to plan and approach the publishing of the dissertation?”, we want to organize a digital exchange on the topic “How to publish? From the submission of the dissertation to the finished book” (probably in mid/late July).
A speaker from the BRILL publishing group will be there to report on this process from the publishers‘ perspective. It would also be nice if a newly published person would like to talk about their own experiences. Who among you has just completed this challenging process and would like to report on it?
