Day of the GSGG/Awarding of the Christian-Gottlob-Heyne-Prize
November 3, 2022, Start: 4:00 pm, Conference and Event House Alte Mensa, Wilhelmsplatz 3.
We invite all doctoral and supervising members to an exchange about the situation of doctoral students and the offers of GSGG. The current occasion is the upcoming application of our university for the status as University of Excellence. However, as always, discussions about all matters concerning doctoral studies at our supporting faculties are important even without a current occasion. The exchange will start at 4:00 pm.
Afterwards, starting at 18:30, the Christian-Gottlob-Heyne Award will be awarded. This year, literary scholar Lena Susanne Lang will be honored for her thesis: Medialer Habitus und biographische Legende. Schriftstellerische Inszenierungspraktiken im Zeitalter der Digitalisierung. In addition to the award winner, five other doctoral students were nominated for their outstanding dissertations. An overview of all nominated thesises and their authors can be found here.
We are looking forward to welcoming you on November 3. Please register by email to gsgg@uni-goettingen.de.
