On the shortlist for the award this year are Enrico Boccaccini („Transcultural Comparisons of Mirrors for Princes (8th-13th century) from both Sides of the East-West-Divide“, Arabistic), Inga Schürmann („Die Kunst des Richtens und die Richter der Kunst. Die Rolle des Literaturkritikers in der Aufklärung“, German Philology), and Lubomir Suva („Der tschechische Himmel liegt in der Hölle. Märchen von Božena Němcová und den Brüdern Grimm im Vergleich“, Slavic Philology). A website with an introduction to the candidates and their dissertations is currently in preparation.
