End of Hetairos programme
We are very sorry to announce that the Hetairos programme will be discontinued because funding from the Göttingen Campus QPlus project ends; these funds were used in particular to finance positions in university didactics that are no longer available and that the GSGG cannot finance.
The programme, started in the summer semester of 2010, was ground-breaking at the time because it already understood university didactics as an integral aspect of doctoral education when that had by no means gotten to all universities yet. The programme was ground-breaking for the GSGG, because it uniquely brought together professors and doctoral candidates who continued their discussions on research topics in discussions about teaching, deepened them and expanded them by new dimensions. The programme was characterized by a lively discussion culture and, especially among doctoral students, by intensive cooperation – there are still collegial networks and friendships that started in one of the Hetairos rounds. Dr. Sabine Heerwart and Dr. Angelika Thielsch, who have overseen the program over the years – many thanks to both of you!
So now it is time to put a final point behind the Hetairos program, but one with which the university didactic qualification for doctoral students at the University of Göttingen in no way comes to a standstill. You will find current offers for teaching newcomers below.
