Alumni conversation with Solveig Lena Hansen: educate yourself, educate others and form bonds

On March 23, we received medical ethicist Solveig Lena Hansen as our guest, who after her doctorate (which was awarded both by the Board of Trustees of the University of Göttingen and the Academy for Ethics in Medicine) initially worked as a research assistant in Göttingen and now has a position as Lecturer for ethics at the Faculty of Human and Health Sciences at the University of Bremen. Solveig reported on the role of strategic action and chance played in the transition to the postdoctoral phase, on her enjoyment of the position with a high teaching load and the high art of networking during and after her doctorate.
