Exchange on the situation of PhD students/Awarding of the Christian-Gottlob-Heyne-Award

November 3, 2022, Start: 4:00 p.m., Tagungs- und Veranstaltungshaus Alte Mensa, Wilhelmsplatz 3

We invite all doctoral students and supervising members to an exchange about the situation of doctoral students and the offers of GSGG. The current occasion is the upcoming application of our university for the status as University of Excellence. However, as always, discussions about all matters concerning doctoral studies at our supporting faculties are important even without a current occasion. The exchange will start at 4:00 pm.

Afterwards, starting at 6:30 p.m., the Christian-Gottlob-Heyne-Prize will be awarded. This year, literary scholar Lena Susanne Lang will be awarded for her work Medialer Habitus und biographische Legende. Schriftstellerische Inszenierungspraktiken im Zeitalter der Digitalisierung. In addition to the award winner, five other doctoral students were nominated for their outstanding dissertations. An overview of all nominated dissertations and their authors can be found here.

We look forward to welcoming you on November 3 and to talking with you. Please register by e-mail, if you like even until November 2, to gsgg@uni-goettingen.de.
