Alumni event (save the date)
In the context of the establishment of an alumni network we are planning a casual event series with the alumni of GSGG. Many of our former members are willing to share their experiences during their doctoral phase and their professions at various career degrees with PhD students. Through the exchange with Alumni, you will be able to get insights in various professional fields and receive information concerning vocational orientation.
We would like to take this opportunity and cordially invite you to our first Alumni event on Monday, 26th November 2018. Our first guest will be junior professor Dr Julia Hauser of University Kassel (professorship for Global History/History of Globalisation Processes). Before going to Kassel, Julia Hauser had finished her doctoral degree in Göttingen as a member of GSGG and had been postdoc with the focus on “Multiple Modernities” at GSGG. She will give us a personal insight in her career path “science” and will answer your questions. We will give you detailed information in due time.
