Virtual lecture series “Die extreme Rechte – Bedrohungen und Gegenstrategien”

Extreme right-wing ideologies, movements and violence are on the rise. The ideological and anti-democratic forerunners try to expand and strengthen their influence in the middle of society. The effects of this development can be felt in all areas of society, including at the University of Göttingen. Fundamental principles of freedom of science, the press and freedom of expression are up for grabs from an extremely right-wing perspective. Against this background, the lecture series focuses on research and practical knowledge on the extreme right-wing threat situation and possible counter-strategies.
