Day of the GSGG/Awarding of the Christian-Gottlob-Heyne-Award

November 3, 2022, Start: 4:00 p.m., Conference and Event House Alte Mensa, Wilhelmsplatz 3.

On November 3, the day of the GSGG will take place. Unfortunately, the Geisteswissenschaftliche Einblicke will not take place this year, as too few registrations have been received. The rooms in the Alte Mensa have been booked for a long time, the date is already fixed – therefore we would like to invite all doctoral students and supervising members to an exchange about the situation of doctoral students and the offers of the GSGG. The current occasion is the upcoming application of our university for the status as University of Excellence. However, as always, discussions about all issues concerning doctoral studies at our faculties are important even without a current occasion. More information will follow soon, and we would be delighted to engage in conversation with you.

Afterwards, the Christian-Gottlob-Heyne-Prize will be awarded during the evening ceremony. This year, literary scholar Lena Susanne Lang will be awarded for her work Medialer Habitus und biographische Legende. Schriftstellerische Inszenierungspraktiken im Zeitalter der Digitalisierung.
